Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours
This is the first zipline canopy tour in the Nantahala Gorge area of Western NC through the mountainous property of Falling Waters Nantahala. Our 13 zips and 8 sky bridges combine for over 1/2 mile of high-flying fun on this adventure activity.
Experience the excitement and beauty of sailing through the air and the trees in Western North Carolina! Canopy tours are a spectacular way to experience flight and enjoy the outdoors with an added element of adventure and excitement. A moderate uphill trail leads you to the entrance of the tour. One additional short hike takes you to the final 2 zips back to our wooded pavilion. New- Starting May 1 our canopy tours will accommodate kids 8 yrs. old and up with a minimum weight of 60 lbs. (1 adult/kid under 12 yrs. old).

Cost
Ranges from $74 to $89 per person, depending on group size. Includes a full-body harness, a two-wheeled zipline trolley, helmet, and gloves.

Wildwater was the first company in the US to build multiple zipline courses specifically for kids 4 & older and this is our 2nd one in Western NC! KidZip Nantahala will offer ziplines and adventure park elements for kids 4-12 years old old in a scenic wooded adventure setting. With a continuous cable and roller system there is no clipping and unclipping for the participants!!

- Tree based platforms, ziplines & challenges
- 2-hour time block, zip and climb as many times as you want
- 4-6 yr. olds must have paying adult escort on the course with them.
- 7 -12 year olds enjoy the course with adult chaperone nearby.
- Adults only allowed when accompanying youth (4-12 years).
A train and canopy combo trip rides through the Smoky Mountains and then ends with an exciting zipline canopy tour for ages 10 and up. Begins and ends at the train depot in Bryson City.
- 2-hour morning train ride on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad along Fontana Lake and up into the Nantahala Gorge
- Lunch on the train while traveling along side of the Nantahala River
- Take off after lunch on 13 ziplines and 8 sky bridges on the Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tour, ages 10 and up
